This is a difficult one to identify. The ages of James and Kenneth place them in the right period for Woodcote, but the tower behind is misleading. I think that they are on Long Toll road at site No.2, and the building behind is the Transportation Shed, building No.20a. This building was built of brick and had a foot print of 300 feet by 100 feet and when MU70 closed down it was used by Oxfordshire County Council Highways Department as a depot. I think that the tower might be a new water tower to give pressure to the domestic water supply of Woodcote and need someone locally to confirm this. A big 'Thank you' to James for sharing these memories with us. © James Sorrie.
