These two fine gentlemen are working in their huts on the Lizard in the 1930s.

Here is an example on the Lizard of the premises where the souvenirs were made and sold from.

These four photos show the Poltesco serpentine quarry in its hey day.

The middle photo is of a small house acting as a shop cum workshop at Wherrytown in Penzance. It has long since been demolished. The two outer photos show the promenade at Penzance where the serpentine shop can still be seen today, but selling different items.

The first two photos show the Penzance promenade again, and the last one shows the factory at Wherrytown where turning was done on an industrial scale. This building has also been demolished.
